Sleepout Velcro plates can be installed by using the adhesive back-side to permanently stick to any surface. This allows light to be blocked around the edges of the curtain or for the curtain to be installed over the window frame, to get total darkness. Velcro Plates are not included with Portable curtains.

To permanently install your Sleepout Portable, put the 2 velcro plates above your window, ideally with some extra space on either side, no wider than your curtain. 

Then simply attach the velcro of the curtain to the velcro plates. Please note, these are not reusable and will damage the paint or surface for which they are adhered. The material is similar to a command strip and may be removed easier with heat.
